charles bukowski's bluebird - expressive type poster

Charles Bukowski is an iconic poet whose words and poetry is always full of emotion and feelings. I decided to create a poster expressing the feelings and emotions encompassed in his poem Bluebird. As the typography was not meant to be readable, but focusing more on the legibility of letters, my idea was to create a sense of feeling trapped within the words. With the bluebird being a metaphor for his feelings being trapped inside of him, a messy, loose typographic piece would best communicate the words in the poem. Deliverables were an expressive typographic piece, in which I decided to create a poster.
